Extrusion Assembly Operator will cut, assemble, clean, and package aluminum extrusions and other materials according to the work schedule and work processes.
Hours: 10:30pm-6:30am Sunday through Thursday. Training is required on either 1st (4:30am-12:30pm) or 2nd (2:30pm-10:30pm)
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather extrusions and cutting materials to cut jobs according to work orders.
- Verify correct quality, color, and material to be used.
- Measure and cut extrusion as stated in work order and illustrated on blueprint.
- Monitor saw and make adjustments as necessary.
- Notify Supervisor/maintenance of any equipment concerns immediately.
- Perform dimensional inspections and inspect for cosmetic flaws on finished cut product.
- Assemble extrusions using hands and hand tools, including air and electrical tools.
- Clean, bag and seal parts, build crates and pack finished products.
- Fill out shipment info forms and attach shipping labels.
- Completes necessary paperwork (time sheets and team boards).
- Fill out DMNs for any defective products.
- Assist other departments as necessary.
- Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.

- Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to work overtime.
