Job description:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead plant operations, drive manufacturing excellence, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role provides leadership for hourly and support employees while focusing on continuous improvement across quality, productivity, delivery, cycle time, and cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and promote a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
- Drive operational performance, including OEE, production output, delivery, and profitability
- Improve manufacturing planning, execution, and shop floor discipline
- Lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, reducing waste and cycle time
- Develop, train, and mentor team leaders, supervisors, and support staff
- Conduct capacity analysis and implement standard work to ensure operational efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering to improve processes, quality, and product flow
- Manage departmental budgets and drive cost reduction initiatives
- Maintain strong communication with staff, management, and customers
- Support plant strategic plans, goals, and corporate initiatives
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including 3+ years as a direct supervisor
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS in Business Administration or Engineering
- Experience in investment casting or manufacturing operations
- Proven track record in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement
- Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
- Financial literacy and budget management experience
- Experience with tooling, molds, or dies in Investment Casting, Injection Casting, Injection Molding, or Stamping
