Metal fabrication and manufacturing company is seeking a Press Brake Operator on first shift. This company will take raw material such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel and turn it into finished parts or products.
Essential Functions
- Operate Press Brake Machines to produce parts for assembly operations
- Operates Press Brake Machine to cut, bend, and shape work piece.
- Sets stops, dies, adjusts components
- Performs regular quality checks on work piece
- Checks height, depth and thickness using gauges, calipers and other measuring instruments
- Grinds out burrs and sharp edges of work pieces
- Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly.
- Communicates with supervisor, production, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
- Communicates to co-workers and other team members in an effective way.
- Follows proper safety, OSHA, and ISO guidelines for operating a Press Brake
Hours are 6:30am-3:00pm M-F
